How long do we keep your data?

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, no longer. Your personal information is then destroyed in an appropriate manner.

However, we must comply with certain legal retention periods for certain types of information. For example, payment and billing information (billing address, name, etc.) is retained for seven (7) years, in accordance with applicable tax legislation. Private practice client files are kept for ten (10) years, in accordance with College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) requirements.

What rights do you have over your data?

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You may also ask us to delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data that we are obliged to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.
