Welcome, I’m David Pressault
I’m a Jungian analyst with a strong background in the arts. I developed a relationship with the unconscious through the art form of contemporary dance, and found my ability as an artist improved by being deeply involved in my own analysis. I was a professional dancer and choreographer for 20 years, and founded my own dance company, David Pressault Danse, which presented work in Canada, Belgium and Italy.
When I retired from the stage, I did a Masters and focused my research on power dynamics in education and the workplace, specifically in dance. At the same time, I trained in Analytical Psychology at the Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts and graduated in 2012. I work in private practice, hold workshops, offer supervision for training analysts, and am faculty for OAJA and Jung Archademy.
I accompany adults struggling with different life issues. My work invites one to share, observe and explore their life story. In this process, unconscious issues that are a source of suffering in the present reality are made conscious. In doing so, new energy can become available. This invites a different life view, better choices and new ways of being in the world which are more in tune with one’s deeper self. I work with dreams, artistic and creative material, archetypes, along with everyday life situations.

I can tailor unique talks, workshops or retreats that resonate with your group. We can design an experience to apply the lens of Jungian Psychology to self understanding, creative expression, helping professions, and more.
